Dear friends, thank you for lifting up Welser in your prayers. Welser Romelus passed from this life to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 2. He had been in apparent good health before he tested positive for Covid on September 20. Towards the end of last week, he was hospitalized at the St Boniface Hospital in Fond-des-Blans, a hospital of good reputation between Les Cayes and Port-Au-Prince. God took him home rather than cure him. We may not understand why, but we trust in God’s sovereignty and know His ways are perfect.

Welser was a man of integrity and a follower of Christ. He exemplified Micah 6:8, leading his staff by the very words of God.
“And what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
Please keep his wife and 3 children in your prayers, along with his co-workers at the hospital. We also appreciate prayers for the decisions that will have to be made as we look for a new administrator. It will be difficult to replace him.
“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21
